January Christmas
If you have been following our posts recently, then you know that Children of the Promise has had a busy Christmas and New Years. It wasn’t the kind of busy that was welcomed or invited, as we were busy caring for many sick children. Our preference would have been a busy schedule of Christmas activities, time reflecting on Jesus birth, and maybe even a Christmas cookie or two. Even though we didn’t get to do much of that in December, we were still reminded of the care and provision of our Heavenly Father. He is always there when we call on Him and need Him. That was evident throughout the Christmas season at COTP, even though we didn’t exchange many gifts or eat any cookies. But that doesn’t mean we can’t do that now that things have settled down.
Over the past week, our staff and children have been trying to make up for the Christmas activities missed. Now that most of our children are feeling much better, it is time for some Christmas fun and activities. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to the past week or so. So glad to see our children with wrapping paper instead of IVs.
