Making Vision a Reality
House Parents:
We need several couples or individuals with open hearts to serve as house parents. Our hope is to find house parents who have significant parenting or life experience. House parents will be asked to commit to 2 years at a time and will receive some training and orientation prior to serving. House parents will be asked to participate in fund-raising efforts to help support their time of service in Haiti and COTPʼs mission efforts. It will be a unique opportunity to directly affect the lives of little ones and work closely along-side our Haitian nannies and staff.
Please consider serving in this capacity or encouraging someone you know to do so. It is an opportunity to change lives and be changed at the same time.
Construction
In order to make this a reality, we will need to build 8 smaller homes along with several significant utility updates and additions. This project will be a massive undertaking for COTP and we will seek to incorporate international volunteers and local Haitian professionals into the construction. Homes will be built in phases, which will in part depend on funding and finding house parents. Please consider being a part of this vision in one of the following ways:
• Financial Support: Each home will cost roughly 35,000 to build.
**We plan to build the first 3 homes in 2012, which means we need to raise about $100,000 this year!
• Building Project: Volunteer your time and talents by taking a trip down to Haiti to help with a phase of the project. We will put any willing hands to work, no matter the experience or expertise. We will also be looking for qualified builders, engineers, electricians, and plumbers to help us complete various phases.
• Promotion: If you believe in the mission and vision of COTP, please spread the word!
Prayer
Please pray for the babies, staff, leaders, and future of COTP. The mission in Haiti has always been led by God, and he continues to lead and provide.
