Name: Odelande
Birthday: 10/04/2008
Name: Jean Edson
Birthday: 02/04/2007
Odelande had been in our care a while back until her parents decided to take her home. She continued on our formula program as she was still young and she did well and eventually graduated the program. However, things with their situation have changed and Odelande is now back in our care. She will be one in October and weighs 13lbs 1.6oz. Please pray for her mom as they work towards a plan for sweet Odelande.  Jean Edson was admitted to our facility the end of last week. His father and a neighbor brought him to us. He is just over 2 years old and weighs barely over 10lbs. He is an adorable little boy who we can only imagine has had a rough life so far. He isn't very interested in food, but we hope that will quickly change. He was healthy when he was born and around 9 months was admitted to the hospital for a fever. Every since then he has not been doing well. We hope his father can make a decision for his future in the next few months. In the mean time, we love cuddling with little Jean Edson.

Name: Irelene
Birthday: 08/26/2008
Name: Caleb
Birthday: 09/20/2006
Irelene came to us with her grandfather. Although she is doing pretty well and is fairly healthy, her young mother ran off and her grandfather doesn't know where to. He is the only one caring for Irelene and just does not know how. He loves his daughter and granddaughter very much and was very humble when asking for help. Please pray for this man, his daughter, and little Irelene.  Caleb was brought to us by his mother and father. They both love him dearly and are caring for him the best they can but with his CP its becoming more difficult and they know that his life in Haiti will not be ideal. Please pray he adjusts well in our care.

Name: Sasia
Birthday: 04/29/08
Name: Roselineda
Birthday: 05/12/2008
Sasia is two months old and weighs 5lbs. She is a beautiful new addition to our home. Her great-grandmother brought her to us as her mother is unable to care for her at the moment. They have been having a hard time feeding her and need some extra help while she is so little. They hope to bring her home in 3 months.  Roselineda's mom and dad both came to admit her. Roselineda's mom seems mentally unstable and does not make much sense when she speaks.  At over a year old Roselineda weighs 7 pounds 1 ounce. She is so tiny and sickly. She has been drinking tiny amounts for us but she does not seem to be able to handle too much yet.  She has 8 other siblings; 5 of whom stay at home with their parents and the other 3 live with an aunt, friend and godmother. Her parents will come back in 2 months to discuss her future. Please be praying Roselineda starts to do well and gains lots of weight.

Name: Begenson
Birthday: 04/05/2008
Name: Wilson
Birthday: 08/26/2008
Begenson was brought to us by his grandmother. He turned a year old on April 5th and has kwashiorkor. He weighs just over 16lbs. His mother is very sick and his grandmother is unable to care for them both (plus his 2 siblings). We have nicknamed him Ben as its easier to say. We put an ng tube down to feed him for now, but we pray his appetite increases and he gains healthy weight. He loves to cuddle which we are happy to oblige. Wilson was admitted to the hospital with his mother for vomiting and diarrhea. After he was admitted his mother left and never came back. He was left there for 1 month before we found out about him. He weighs just over 10lbs and is about 8 months old. He has some skin infections and poor muscle tone, but we hope good nutrition and love will help quickly change all that. He is already smiling and such a sweet boy.
