Conner is from Minneapolis MN, studied international development at Trinity Western University, and previously worked with individuals in Vancouver who struggled with homelessness, poverty, and substance abuse. Conner met his wife, Renee, at Trinity Western University in British Columbia. Renee came across Children of the Promise about ten years ago and went to serve with COTP in Haiti for six months. She fell in love with the country and its people during her time there and always hoped to return. Her time serving sick children at COTP was also a large influence in her going to university to pursue nursing. Conner and Renee got married and shortly thereafter took a trip to volunteer at COTP, during which Conner also fell in love with Haiti and the work COTP is doing there. Since their time at COTP three years ago, Conner has completed a Masters degree in Social Work, Renee has worked as a nurse in labour and delivery, they moved from BC to Ontario, and they now have two children. Feeling passionate about and called to support the amazing work of COTP in Haiti, Conner and Renee work towards spreading the story of Children of the Promise in Canada.
