Rebekah first heard about COTP in 2005 when Jan Bonnema came and talked to her undergraduate nursing class about the mission and work of COTP. Rebekah couldn’t get the faces of those cute Haitian babies out of her mind, so after working as an adult critical care nurse for 2 years, she contacted COTP again and shortly afterward moved down to Haiti. She worked as the nurse for COTP and also with the CARIS Foundation on pediatric HIV prevention and treatment from 2009-2010. Then she moved back to Washington State to pursue a masters degrees in nursing and public health. Now she works at a pediatric clinic in Centralia, WA as a pediatric nurse practitioner. Rebekah joined the COTP board in 2016 and is thrilled to stay connected to the mission and great people of COTP
