Roni and Steph are both originally from southwestern Pennsylvania but have spent the past six years in Nashville, TN. Roni has a Master’s degree from Lipscomb University in mental health counseling and spent two and a half years working at the Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital. Steph has two degrees in education, both from Lipscomb University, and has spent the two years prior to moving to Haiti tutoring high school math and science after teaching fourth grade for a year. Roni and Steph visited Haiti several times since Steph’s first trip to Gonaives in 2008. They spent their time serving in orphanages, churches, prisons, aziles, and rural communities. Two of their good friends who live in Haiti introduced Roni and Steph to COTP in 2012 as they began to hear God’s call to serve long term in Haiti. After visiting COTP in 2013 and again in 2014, they knew this was the place they wanted to call home. Roni and Steph moved to COTP in July 2015 to serve as house parents in the Hope House.
