Kirk and Christina Vander Pol hail from rural MN. Missions, outreach, and service have always been central to the Vander Pols. After supporting COTP through their local church in Prinsburg, MN, Kirk led a group to visit COTP in 2011. The whole family spent the month of June in 2011 at COTP leading the groups. Shortly after returning home, they decided to adopt two girls. Not long after that, they responded to God’s call for service at COTP and moved down in 2012! Christina has her license in clinical counseling and serves on an on-call basis to assist with mental health needs at COTP as well as unification of kids with adoptive parents. For their first 3 years, Kirk served as Field Director, overseeing all operations in Haiti. In late 2015, Kirk took on a new role as Development Director. Kirk and Christina have four children, Noah, Elijah, Natalie, and Rose, who serve with them in Haiti working to give voice to Christ’s words and using hands and feet to serve on Christ’s behalf.
