Education

We believe that education is one of the most powerful tools that can be used to fight for family and overcome the cycle of poverty.
Institution Chrétienne Enfants de la Promesse (ICEP)

ICEP Mission: To provide Christ-centered quality education, equipping students for a life of praise and service in their communities and beyond for the glory of Jesus Christ.

At Children of the Promise, our school (ICEP) is more than just a place of learning—it’s a place of opportunity, dignity, and hope. Serving over 300 students from Pre-K through 9th grade, the school offers quality education in a region where access is often out of reach for many families.

In Haiti, the cost of school is one of the biggest challenges families face. Most parents simply can’t afford to send all their children, forcing them to choose who gets an education and who stays home. We’re working to change that by removing financial barriers and asking families to contribute a small fee toward their child’s education—ensuring that schooling is no longer a privilege, but a shared and accessible opportunity for all.

With a team of 55+ dedicated school staff and a growing number of students with disabilities (34 currently enrolled), we are committed to making our classrooms inclusive, supportive, and full of promise. Because every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and dream big.
