Finance Coordinator
Position: Part time, 15-20 hours per week with a flexible work schedule
Location: COTP Willmar Office (Opportunity to work remotely if necessary. Candidates are not required to live in the Willmar area, nor are they expected to relocate.)
Position Summary:
The Finance Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Finance Department at COTP. This will include managing and equipping a unified staff, managing resources, and promoting a commitment to excellence. The FC must have a passion to serve others. The individual is expected to: be a team player; be self motivated; have a high attention to detail; be a hard worker; and be patient. The individual must be responsible with time and resources, as well as efficient and resourceful.
Finance Job Duties:
Provides oversight for all financial tracking (data entry and integrity of accounting system data)
Processes all US payrolls and is responsible for all U.S. personnel files
Processes all inter-account US bank transfers
Maintains general ledger (Quickbooks)
Provides the directors and managers the information they need to make financial decisions
Prepares monthly and year-end financial reports
Reconciles all bank accounts
Qualifications:
Experience in finance or accounting is required, preferably in working with nonprofits.
Must have proficiency in Quickbooks.
Experience in Microsoft Excel.
